Job Title: Development Associate
Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt (40 hours/week)
Reports to: Development Director

Position Overview:
The Development Associate plays a key role in supporting fundraising operations by managing donor data, generating reports, and assisting with donor stewardship efforts. This role ensures accurate database management, tracks donor engagement, and provides crucial administrative support to the Development team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to support impactful nonprofit work.


Key Responsibilities:

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser's Edge.
  • Generate reports for campaigns, donor segmentation, and fundraising analysis.
  • Track donor engagement and portfolio performance.

Donor Stewardship Support:

  • Prepare donor materials, including thank-you letters and reports.
  • Assist with donor touches such as calls, tours, and customized follow-ups.

Administrative Support:

  • Help organize and execute development events and campaigns.
  • Manage scheduling, meeting preparation, and other team support tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or business.
  • 1-2 years of experience in development or database management preferred.
  • Proficiency with Raiser's Edge (RE or RE NXT) or similar CRM required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
